The Evidence

· March 2006 · for

No amount of training could prepare a man.

As Navy Commander John Wells and his crew watch hopelessly from their space station perch, terrorists cripple the nation’s capital and security systems. While the world looks to the Middle East for blame, sudden images off the plains of Mars offer a staggering alternative.

With a sophisticated alien culture seemingly confirmed on the Red Planet, a disorganized U.S. government struggles to formulate their next steps. Caught in a web of politics, torn by his family commitments, and called to serve not only his country but his God, John Wells must take a giant step for mankind.

Book 1, the Mars Hills Classified trilogy — adult science fiction

  1. The story is compelling, especially if you like intrigue (I do) and suspense. For those science fiction fans, there is plenty of technology here, too, though this first book in the traditional trilogy (one story in three books) began in the near future, which is already the present.

Of the three books, this one feels less like science fiction and more like a suspense story than the others, simply because the topic of life on Mars is open for debate. But the seeds are there for the science to take off (and it does).

For sci fi fans wanting a story from a Christian perspective, this book is a must read. For others, I highly recommend The Evidence.
