ORLANDO, FLA., Sept. 20, 2025—At the second annual Chosen Insiders Conference, The Chosen creator Dallas Jenkins stunned fans by announcing five new spinoff series to form what some are calling “a Bible cinematic universe.”1

“You guys are defeating Marvel!” Pastor Levi Lusko told The Chosen fans in a conference address the morning after the announcement.

On Friday evening, surrounded by teal palm trees, Jenkins announced a rebrand of Chosen Inc., the company behind his television show. The company is now called 5&2 Studios.

Summoning his inner Steve Jobs, Jenkins paced the stage while hyping up dramatic poster reveals to both livestreamers and over 5,000 in-person attendees.

Jenkins announced:

  • The Book of Moses
  • The Way of The Chosen
  • Joseph
  • The Chosen in the Wild
  • The Chosen Adventures

The Book of Moses will immediately follow The Chosen series finale, helmed by Jenkins, and will follow the story of Moses and the exodus.

“The cool thing about the Moses story is that … Moses is the forebearer to Jesus,” Jenkins said. “Moses turned the water into blood. Jesus turned the water into wine. Moses split the Red Sea. Jesus walked on the water. Moses put up the serpent on the pole and people looked at it to be healed … Jesus gets up on the ‘pole’ so people can look at Him and be healed.”

While filming The Chosen, Dallas and his wife Amanda would often refer to miraculous signs of God’s providence as “Red Sea moments,” and Jenkins said it was about time to depict a literal Red Sea moment with the story of Moses.

Creators plan three seasons for The Book of Moses.

Jenkins will follow The Book of Moses with the direct sequel to The Chosen, called The Way of The Chosen. This title comes from “the Way,” which is what early Christians called their faith.

“I know you want to see them [The Chosen cast] again,” Jenkins said. He even teased the debut of Paul, who he says “might deserve his own show.”

Joseph will debut as a one-season limited series between The Chosen’s sixth and seventh seasons. It will be the first live-action media depiction of Joseph since the Joseph TV miniseries in 1995.

Outside of Bible projects, Jenkins also revealed a secret project he and some of The Chosen cast have been filming with Man vs. Wild host Bear Grylls. With Grylls as their guide, actors Luke Dimyan (Judas), Liz Tabish (Mary Magdalene), Paras Patel (Matthew), Noah James (Andrew), and Jonathan Roumie (Jesus) will find themselves facing their fears and surviving the wild.

“One of the reasons why we did this is because [Bear’s] show and what [he’s] done in the past … puts people outside of their comfort zone, and that’s what The Chosen is about,” Jenkins said. “We want to get people out of their comfort zone, and that’s where vulnerability takes place.”

Jenkins had something for everyone at the big ChosenCon reveal—even for children. In possibly their most ambitious project announced, 5&2 Studios will debut The Chosen Adventures in January 2025, and will follow Abby and Joshua from The Chosen season 1 as they learn valuable biblical lessons from their time with Jesus. The Chosen cast will act in supporting animated roles, and the show is set to continue indefinitely.

“It’s so good and there’s so much God in it,” said The Chosen Adventure showrunner Ryan Swanson in an exclusive interview after the keynote. “The cast is incredible.“
