History is filled with legends: warriors impervious to the sword, shape-shifters who could walk and talk as animals, beings composed entirely of light and more.

Once marked in history books as folklore and myth, the Manifests proved the stories were true when they ended the Great Divide, America’s second civil war.

More importantly, they proved the genetic makeup of legends still exists in people today.

Nearly two decades later, Jabin Kainos is one of the few youth still displaced and without a family, and now he faces a choice: try his luck alone or volunteer at the Center for Human Advancement, the organization responsible for creating the Manifests. Jabin elects to join the program. Earning the ire of long-time participants, he is among the few to progress to the program’s final stages. But as Jabin and the new team around him learn the risks that come with manifestation, they get a painful reminder that the annals of legends include villains to match heroes.

Book 1 of the Jabin Kainos Series.
