A huge diamond with marvelous powers is the sought-after prize in each part of this engrossing fantasy-adventure trilogy, which brings alive through metaphor three biblical events: the Fall of man, war in heaven and the Peaceable Kingdom.
I haven’t read it in a long time, but this and the Tower of Geburah were two of my favorite Christian Fantasy books growing up. Somewhat Tolkienesque, but Miller was pretty inventive, especially for the time.
