Shannon McDermottSpec Faith is happy to introduce writer and blogger Shannon McDermott who will be contributing a regular, every-other Wednesday post, alternating with John Otte, beginning May 28.

I’ve knowing Shannon through the CSFF Blog Tour for a number of years. Her writing is always insightful and interesting. More than that, she writes from a Biblical worldview.

Spec Faith has been privileged to have Shannon as a guest from time to time, and she regularly participates in the Spec Faith writing challenges.

She is the author of The Valley of Decision and The Last Heir, as well as Beauty of the Lilies and Summer Leaves (Sons of Tryas, I and II). She has also written the Adventures of Christian Holmes, a series of detective short stories.

Shannon was born in California, raised on the East Coast, and now lives in the Midwest. She enjoys coffee, novels, and history. To connect with her, visit her website, or drop by her Facebook or Goodreads page.

Best known for her aspirations as an epic fantasy author, Becky is the sole remaining founding member of Speculative Faith. Besides contributing weekly articles here, she blogs Monday through Friday at A Christian Worldview of Fiction. She works as a freelance writer and editor and posts writing tips as well as information about her editing services at Rewrite, Reword, Rework.
