I stumbled upon this book when I worked as a manager at a Christian Bookstore. I enjoyed it so much, I sold dozens of them. I keep giving my copies away and having to buy new ones, as I have re-read this many times. I finally got the ebook and downloaded on my kindle. It is great sci fi. The message is great but is not preachy at all. Because it is an allegory and does not quote scripture, it speaks into the lives of non-Christians as well. I highly recommend the book. It will make you think about your life.
