Can good be imposed through evil means?

An idyllic Spanish mission collapses in the eighteenth century atop the supernatural evidence of a shocking crime. Twelve generations later, the ground is opened up, the forgotten ruins disturbed, and rich and poor alike confront the onslaught of resurging hell on earth.

Will the evil that destroyed the Mision de Santa Delores rise to overwhelm the modern day Californians? Or will they beat back the terrible desires that led to the mission’s good Franciscan founder standing in the midst of flames ignited by his friends and enemies alike more than two centuries ago?

Adult supernatural thriller/magic realism/historical fiction

  1. So how can I not recommend a book as powerful as Lost Mission. Like anything else we read, we must think and look to Scripture and compare and ask questions and pray. This book pushed me to do a lot of the above. I highly recommend Lost Mission for those who are ready to tackle a book that disturbs and makes them think about God and His work and His ways. The book doesn’t give the answers, and that’s why it is so powerful.

    Becky,
I couldn’t agree more with your comments.  This is one of the best Christian Fiction I’ve ever read and I believe is a high work of literary fiction regardless of genre.
